Birds Cooperative Hunting Behavior @ Kaleswaram, Telangana #BirdsHunting Many species of birds, including certain types of herons, egrets, and cormorants, exhibit cooperative hunting behavior in shallow waters. This behavior is often observed in coastal areas, wetlands, and freshwater habitats where fish are abundant. These birds may work together to corral fish into shallower waters or to concentrate them in a specific area before striking. This cooperative hunting strategy increases the efficiency of capturing prey and allows the birds to access a food source that might be difficult to catch individually. Observed this behavior at Kaleswaram reservior in Telangana State.
