White-eyed Buzzard Preening #WhiteEyedBuzzard The white-eyed buzzard is a medium-sized bird of prey. It is native to the Indian subcontinent. These birds typically inhabit wooded areas, forests, and open country with scattered trees. They feed primarily on small mammals, reptiles, insects, and occasionally birds, hunting from perches or by soaring and gliding. White-eyed buzzards are often solitary or found in pairs. This lone species was captured at Pandam Reserve Forest in Mahabubabad District in Telangana state. The species was busy preening its feathers and showed it's nictatating membrane. Footage was captured using Canon R3 + Canon RF 600mm f4 lens.
