The Not-So-Common Babbler of Telangana - "Common Babbler" | Yenkatala, Telangana | 4K A Common Babbler weaves its way through tall stalks of jowar in a lush agricultural field, its slender body partially hidden among the green blades and ripening grain heads. With quick, alert movements, it hops from stem to stem, pecking at insects and seeds with purpose. The bird’s sandy-brown plumage and streaked crown blend subtly with the dry stalks, but its long tail and restless behavior give it away. Occasionally, it pauses to scan its surroundings, tail flicking slightly, before resuming its foraging.
