The application of mehendi is not just a decorative art form but has deeper cultural meanings, signifying the bride's transformation into a goddess-like figure ready to embark on her new journey. As the mehendi artist weaves magical patterns with precision, the air is filled with music, laughter, and excitement, creating an atmosphere of festivity and anticipation.   As the wedding day approaches, the 'Baraat' procession is a spectacle of exuberance and joy, with the groom arriving on a decorated horse or in a luxurious car, accompanied by singing and dancing baraatis (wedding guests). The beats of traditional drums reverberate through the air, as the groom makes his grand entrance to the venue where the bride awaits, adorned in her resplendent bridal attire. The exchange of garlands ('Jaimala') signifies the mutual acceptance of the bride and groom to be partners in this journey called life, sealed with promises of love, respect, and togetherness.
