A quintessential Kerala snack, made at homes for the evening snack time with a Tea, Coffee or a Kattan Chaaya (Black Tea). It's also found in most of the street food shops and bakeries all over Kerala. These Unniappams and Pazham Pori (Kerala Banana fritters) are every Malayali's favourites ☺️. Biting into either of these while still hot and sipping on a Tea......aaaaaah that's bliss! 😋   When you bite into these soft, warm Unniappams and get a few of those crunchy coconut bits fried in ghee.....Aaaaaah, bliss! 🥰   💥Unniappam / Nei appam ( Unni means small in Malayalam. Small appam. It's also called Nei appam....nei is Ghee. Ghee appam) 💥Kattan Chaaya (Black Tea)
