Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 8 – Akshara Brahma Yoga  Shri Bhagawan Uvaca: Verse 20-28 Chandrama (Ingala nadi) represents mind (maan) whereas Sun (Pingala nadi) is budhi.  When intellect is going towards knowledge, then it is going towards Uttaranayan. In this way, it is not possible to return in this world. Also, till your mind is attached to the worldly affairs you are in southern (Dakshinarayan), then you will return to this earth. Usually, we attach everything with physical matters that runs according to sun and lunar calendars. When you look at it from the spiritual perspective, then you are talking about a person seeking knowledge about True Self. All energies, efforts are concentrated to merge with the supreme abode – Brahman. Karma, Dharma, Bhakti – all are focused on gaining knowledge to merge with brahman. Creative energy (force) Sustainable energy (force) Change energy (force) These energies are known as Brahma (Sarasvati), Vishnu (Lakshmi) and Mahesh (Parvati). These energies are associated with the Consciousness, that is why they become devas like. Brahman: Consciousness – knowing aspect Will – intent – sense of doing Being - becoming This is how creation starts – when nirgun brahman transforms into saguna it requires energies.
