Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 8 – Akshara Brahma Yoga  Shri Bhagawan Uvaca: Meditation: It is not about listening to the silence but becoming the silence. One must drop all the efforts – like Shava asana. Your meditation must change to focus on becoming silence. All meditations are related to the control of mind. This provides the ownership of your mind. Then, you can drop everything else and become Being (understanding, knowing (experience) and becoming – being). Meditation techniques must be taught according to the natural tendencies of an individual. For example, fish can swim in deep water very easily. If fish is put in shallow water, it cannot swim naturally. Meditation – Mooldhara chakra in harmony – related to physical aspect of body. Tara (Taada) asana – Standing barefoot on the ground. One needs to come to the state of blissfulness – bring your energy in harmony with earth’s energy. Meditation is a process to bring you to the state of knowing and then to the state of being. The state of mind affects the functioning of organs. Every organ vibrates at certain frequency. Removing your mind’s will and let nature do its work. You harmonize yourself with the Srishti – all anxiety goes away. Later you will learn how to control your prana. Benefits: Anxiety will be reduced; blood pressure will be normalized. You can bring your memory back to be in that state.
