Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 8 – Akshara Brahma Yoga  Sri Bhagawan Uvaca: Verse 9-10 The smallest of all I am. I am achintaye, which cannot be understood, it is not an object. How should we focus on ME? Bring prana in the middle of two eyebrows all the time. Verse 11 Brahmacharya – whose behavior is like brahma acharya, free from attachment and desires. Verse 12 Control your indriyas, bring your mind into heart, bring your prana in the middle of two eyebrows. Concentration (your mind is used) is single pointedness, and you forget yourself, you forget your own existence. In spiritual meditation, your self-awareness is elevated; your self-awareness is expanded to the level where your mind is gone. HE also pointed out heart and head. You are keeping mind in heart implies that your un-conditional love expands to reach bliss. The core quality of heart needs to merge with mind. Indriyas control: 1.     Third eye chakra Shivaji’s third eye opens – ignorance is destroyed; destruction of maya; beyond timescale. When prana opens the third eye then you can see your present, past and future. 2.     Head – crown chakra – connector with divine; focus your prana with third eye and atma connected to crown chakra then you reach Brahman (being). 3.     Prana control (Pranayama – Prana-Vayu) a.     Rai – matter b.     Prana – energy c.     Your breathing speed changes based on the condition of mind (stressed or not stressed). Left nostril – moon calm down; Right nostril – Agni got triggered, which is needed at the time of eating. d.     If we change the breathing pattern, it changes the condition of mind 4.     Chakras – Moola Dhar, Heart is a balancer – above heart is related to spiritual; below heart is related to physical. Aham – I am the seer; we know Srishti by name (nama) and roopa; once you have defined name and roop, then you know it. They become part of shabda. Shabda are created through akchar. The whole Srishti is defined. Aham – m is the identity – that point when it is directed towards Srishti, then it identifies with self – sansarik aham. When that point starts looking upwards, then it starts attaching to Brahman then it becomes Aham Brahmasmi. Therefore, atma starts identifying with parmatma – bring that atma towards Brahma then we merge with Brahman. When it identifies with Srishti, it becomes ahankara.
