Bhagavad Gita Chapter 11 - Vishwarupa Darshana Yoga Verse 1-14 Arjun understands the delusions and sources of delusion. He is traveling towards knowing to experience of delusion. In the path of Gyan yoga, ahankara is standing there. Therefore, Arjun is asking this question – I want to see how it appears. Please show your atmaswaroop. The real seeker of the truth will always look for experience (Anubhav). Bhagawan is addressing Arjun as Parth (param artha – the one who has the desire to reach Brahman). Now, Bhagawan is ready to show His Atmaswaroop. In the moment when your desire becomes intense towards seeker of True-Self, you become Parth. There are two ways to get the Guru’s grace (anukampa) and Prabhu ki anukampa: ·       Rama-Krishna Paramhans gave this grace to Vivekananda, which transformed him from Narendra to Vivekananda. ·       All enlightened people always say that they got it through the grace of the God. To trigger the third eye, you meditate by focusing on the middle of the two eyebrows. Then, you start seeing the powerful light. Verse 15 - 30 Divine Serpent – Shish Nag (Whatever is left); Shiva’s nag is Vasuki. Kundalini symbol is Nag. In a pharmacy – we see two Nags. Why serpent? We can answer it according to Vedas. But when we look at serpent from the spirituality perspective – you may find that the same serpent appearing during deep meditation – process of meditation (Harsh). Vasuki’s serpent is symbolized as shakti. In Dwait school of thoughts – Bhagawan and everyone else is different. I am in this sansar. That is why we are asking these questions. In Dwait, we have some principles e.g., Dharma, which is eternal. Arjun is in Dwait. Therefore, he is asking all these questions. Bhagawan is answering to his questions according to his present state. There is a hierarchy in Dwait. Dharma has a chain and at every link of the chain there is some level of understanding. Arjun is asking questions based on his current level of understanding. Arjun is a son of Indra. He has been blessed with deva shakti. For him, it is real to see the sansar with his mental status. Bhagawan is taking him a bit higher than his current level. Arjun is also saying that you are the protector of Sanatan Dharma. Agni’s dharma is to shed light and heat. Sun is there with all its planets moving around Sun. Earth’s Dharma is to move around the Sun. This individual Dharma is to perform its duties according to the laws of nature. The rules were created to protect this, Dharma. Bhagawan is the protector of these rules to establish harmony with nature. Arjun is looking at the future according to his current understanding. When people follow dharma in its current role – it is called Sur. Asur is the one who is not in harmony with nature and creates destruction. For example, if earth stops revolving around Sun, it will create disturbance in the planet system, because moon may get disturbed. In Adwait – there are no questions. 1.
