According to Vedantic philosophy, the question Who Am I? delves into the nature of the self, known as the Atman. The Vedas teach that beneath our physical bodies and the fluctuations of the mind lies the eternal and unchanging essence of the self. The true self is beyond the labels and roles we identify with in the material world.

The Upanishads emphasize self-realization as the ultimate goal of life, where one transcends the ego and realizes their unity with the ultimate reality, Brahman. By meditating on the question Who Am I?&nbsp; one can come to understand that they are not just the body, mind, or emotions, but a divine being connected to the universal consciousness.
