In a sunny California preschool nestled among the palm trees and laughter-filled playgrounds, children embark on a whimsical educational journey that weaves together play and learning seamlessly. The curriculum is a vibrant tapestry of exploration and discovery, designed to spark curiosity and nurture the natural wonder that resides within every young mind. Embracing the spirit of California's diverse landscape and culture, the preschool's activities are as dynamic as the state itself, offering a kaleidoscope of experiences that celebrate the unique beauty of each child's individuality.

Within these colorful walls, the curriculum serves as a compass guiding children through a world of possibilities. From sensory-rich art projects that ignite creativity to interactive science experiments that unravel the mysteries of the natural world, every activity is thoughtfully crafted to engage young minds and inspire a lifelong love for learning. Whether embarking on a nature walk to investigate local flora and fauna or delving into a multicultural music session that celebrates the rich tapestry of California's heritage, every moment is an opportunity for growth and discovery.

At the heart of the preschool's curriculum lies a commitment to holistic development, nurturing not only children's cognitive skills but also their emotional, social, and physical well-being. Through a blend of structured lessons and unstructured play, children are encouraged to express themselves authentically, fostering a sense of self-confidence and empowerment that will accompany them on their educational journey. From circle time discussions that encourage empathy and communication to outdoor play sessions that promote gross motor skills and teamwork, every aspect of the curriculum is designed to cultivate well-rounded individuals who are equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world.

In true California fashion, the preschool's activities are infused with a spirit of adventure and exploration, inviting children to embrace new experiences with open hearts and open minds. From planting a community garden to learning about sustainable practices that protect the environment, every activity is an opportunity for children to connect with the world around them and develop a deep appreciation for the wonders of nature. Through hands-on projects that encourage problem-solving and critical thinking, children learn to approach challenges with resilience and creativity, laying the foundation for a lifelong love for learning.

As the sun sets over the palm-fringed playground, the laughter of children echoes through the air, a testament to the joy and wonder that fill every moment at the California preschool. In this vibrant oasis of learning, children are celebrated as the unique individuals they are, each one embarking on a personal journey of growth and discovery. With a curriculum that honors the spirit of exploration and activities that ignite the imagination, the California preschool is a place where every child can blossom and thrive, sowing the seeds for a bright and beautiful future ahead.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
We follow High Scope style curriculum based on weekly themes. The High Scope program is based on the theory that children need active involvement with people, materials and ideas. In this adults and children learn together. Children are encouraged to make their own choices about materials and activities and teachers supports this.

Stepping Stone World provides the loving, caring and learning environment for kids from age 2 years to the entry of first grade. We do lots of hands-on experiences like finger painting, play-dough and other art and craft activity which encourages exploration, stimulates ideas and creativity. In our preschool program we meet the children’s individual needs with love, care patience, and understanding.

Our staff works to develop each child individually by recognizing their unique differences. We provide sensitive and responsive care to help make your child feel valued at Stepping Stone World. We make kids very comfortable here by providing a home environment in which they will feel very secure and comfortable. We believe that kids learn better in a comfortable and playful environment. We have a free choice time during which teacher play with kids and try to develop the better understanding of their interest which helps them to plan the theme and curriculum based on the children interest.

Our curriculum is based on academics blended with play and fun. Through play your child will learn social, interaction and language skills. Most part of their social and sharing skill will comes by playing in a group.

We foster the process of self-creation by providing an environment in which the child can develop independently at his or her own pace while still gaining necessary social, physical, intellectual and emotional skill. We understand that each child is different and has different needs and strength; their pace of learning is also different. So we provide the appropriate tools which encourage them to participate in the activity of their choice.

At the end of the preschool and pre-k program your child will ready to go into the kindergarten with following skills.
