The Great Indian Bustard is a magnificent bird native to the Indian subcontinent. Once widespread across the dry plains of the Indian subcontinent, it's now critically endangered due to habitat loss and hunting. These large birds are known for their impressive size, with males weighing up to 15 kilograms and females around half that size.

This is one footage where a GIB is drinking water for over 5 minutes to quinch its thrist. It usually drinks water once in a day.

Captured this footage in the Bustard sanctuary located in Andhra Pradesh.
